The meaning of drug abuse is the use of illegal drugs, or the misuse of prescription or over-the-counter drugs.
The meaning of drug addiction is a condition characterized by an owerwhelming desire to continue taking a drug to which one has become habituated through repeated consumption because it produces a particular effect, usually an alteration of mental status.
They are many types of drugs. That is barbiturates,cannabis,depressants, hallucinogens, inhalants,narcotics,stimulants,tobacco and many more.

i agree with you yuga.drugs is helpful for human beings when it is used for medical proposes.a drug become abusive when it is used with incorrect prescription or just for fun by inresponsible man as in our subject students in seconday school.

but it must be taken in a small amount that is prescribed by healthworkers but nowadays student misuused it in other ways that may endagering their life ..

apart frm that guys , students also likes to take hallucinogens .. from my understanding hallucinogens makes students feel or hear something but what they see and hear is not real .. by browsing the net i could find out six types of hallucinogens that is used by students.. They are PCP,LSD,DMT,foxy,psilocybin and mescaline ..

About the hallucinagens drug,students often use it to get away reality so that they dont have to face with their problem.The club drug,i dont think that students take it because students are prohibited to enter clubs.This is just my opinion.what do you think,guys??

For the club drugs Afiqah, most of the students nowadays are addicted 2 clubs. Most of tem are going to clubs especially students from well-developed area.S.tudents also often takes inhalants too.Inhalants is an addictive.When students inhalants a substance their mind alters.Their mind changes whwn they inhale substance s such as paint thinners ,aerosol spray and gases.Other than that,students also misused the prescription drugs.They use prescriptionn drugs that is prescribed to others.Some of them steal medicine from their parents and grandparents who takes drugs that is provided by doctors.

ReplyDeleteYou all guys must know that some of the doctors also take advantage by selling medicines to the particular person to earn more money in short time but the doctors dint think that what will happen to the youngsters if they misuse the medicine.
