What Cause Drug Abuse Among school students.

Hai guys , now we are goin discuss on research question 2.One of the factors
that i think students involve in drug isthe lack of supervision.From my understanding,nowadays frenz,if we see most of the parents are workingTthey go to work at 8.00am and come back at6.00pm and sometimes some parents ussualy work late night.So this makes parents t spend less time with their children.Some of the parents also does nopt eager to know what the students are doing in schools.They also does not care about what time students come back from school and what they are doing out there.Some parents also do not know their child's frens . This makes student feel more freedom so they in volve in drugs.What do yo all think guys???

    this is some of the causes that i found on the internet
    1.a lack of attachment and nurturing by parents or caregivers.
    2.ineffective parenting.
    3.a caregiver who abuses drugs.
    4.association with drug-abusing peers.

    Yes i agree with you sharfah..Apart from that,students take drugs because of enjoyment ..After a long time in school students feel so relaxed after taking drugs.. Curiosity also one of the factor .. students often get excited when see a new things and this causes them 2 get involved in drugs..what do you think guys ???

    Hey guys juz now i read an article it says that lack of confidence also causes students to involve in drug abuse .. Some students feels shy to do something so when they take drugs they feel doing whatever they want .. its sounds interesting .. so a student who doesnt kno to dance still have thwe willing to dance after taking drugs ..

    yes yuga .. from my understanding of an article people around students also influence the student to get involve in drug .. When they see their parents drinking alcohol and smoking ..they to feel trying it ..and they think its normal ..

    yuga,i do agree with the article regarding the lack of confidence.This is because some students feels that if they are taking drugs, they are an adults and have the freedom to do anything.They think that they are superior than anyone else.

    barathi,i agree with you on that point.Parents is our main role model..if parents do thing like drinking alcohol and even worse taking drugs,children would think that it is ok to do that kind of stuff because my parents did it..if my parents do it,why shouldn't i??

    If the parents very strict to their children also will give a chance to the children to involve in drugs. It is because when the parents very strict, their children will feel very bored and loneliness. By this time they will try to adopt with the drugs. Am i correct????

    But some of the childre take a advantage to try drugs when their parents going to work. When ask why they do like this??? They give reason that parents dint spend time for them. But they dint realize that parents going to work to support them. If parents dint going to work how the children will get the money??? This situation make some children become very sellfish. Acctualy the children should be not always depent to their parents must think!!!!

    ya i agree with both of you guys.. nowadays children are so pampered .. anytime they want money parents will be giving them without asking their child why they want the money .. so the children use the money to buy drugs ..

    I agree totally guys...Children nowadays are so pampered with luxury that they have the power of buying anything that they want.This is wrong..Parents should more strict on children and try to understand their children more.This way,children wont feel lonely and if they do have money,they will think about their parents tought before buying anything useless and dont have any benefit towards them.

    ya ii agree wit both of you guys .. that is because parents trust their children a lot because the children seems to be so nice and good in front of their parents .. so the parents thinks that their children will not do any bad things ..
